Yarn Organizers?

How many skeins does the larger one hold? I noticed that it has 6 holes for yarn to come out. I'm trying to decide which one to order. Thankyou for any help in making a decision.

I have the one with the six holes and I must say it's a VERY handy thing! I used it most recently while we were on vacation and hubby was driving and I was making my butterfly shawl which has four strands of thread held together - that thing worked like a charm! Kept the thread I was using untangled, had room for my 'finished' pieces (it's a motif project) had spots to keep my cutter so it wouldn't slide under the car seat, and I even hooked my stitch markers to the zipper pull!

 

Depending on your needs, either of those is a great thing to have!

I have the orange Eagle bag. Similar idea but much bigger - 6 skein pockets and a huge center area. It's much more expensive than this one, but larger and more durable.

If the budget can handle it (you can get them at Michaels or Joanns with coupons) I'd go for the bigger. I use it to travel all the time. If not, I would definately get this one. I love mine.

Okay. I ordered the larger one from Harriet Carters. How long does it usually take for them to come? I figure at least it'll be sometime before Christmas.

Yay! I've never ordered from them, but that looks like a good value!
