Hi GoalieMom. I have one. I would recommend it for sure if you like to crochet on fleece. That is all that I have tried. It really makes it easier. Let me know what concerns you have and I will give you my perspective if you would like.

I already bought some cute baby flannel and coordinating thread, and hubby has his instructions for making my punching board!

 

I thought it was expensive until I saw some similar supplies at the store. Now I think it's a great deal!

Rose, what else can you do with it besides crochet on fleece? My birthday is in March, hopefully I'll get one then!

I just got one and I think it's great!

Allyson - I have not taken any photos of them, but I have used mine to pierce the bottom edge of towels for my kitchen and crocheted it with yarn that matches my paint. I have not tried to do flannel but I don't know why it would not work. Next, I plan to try to do the bottom edge of pillowcases.
