Thrift Store Find

I just got back from the Salvation Army Thrift Store. I go there to buy used books (reading is my other passion), but today I found a huge bin of yarn. Someone had donated a ton of scrap yarn, but most of it was all tangled in one huge mess. I did manage to get about $10 worth of yarn for .50, but there was soooo much yarn that I left, because I don't know if it would be worth the trouble to try and sort it all out. What do you think? Would it be worth the trouble?

 

I also got an interesting pattern from an old Wintuk yarn wrapper, for free!

I think that it would be worth your time to untangle the mess.

It would not bother me to do it.

Yep...I'd say go for it at that price. That's great for charitable causes, especially if you don't know what else to use it for.

I don't think i would have got it. For me it's not worth it. I rarely frog too. I guess if you have the time and patience, then go for it!

I'd have a hard time passing it up -untangling goes fast when your on the phone. If your willing to cut it goes really fast! I find scraps are great for charity squares.
