I Heard from Candi Jensen!

If you recall, I had a problem with one of Candi's patterns so I emailed her. She's working on it and going to get back to me.

I'm so excited. I was going to try and work it out myself but since I wasn't sure where to begin, this is much better.

No, I haven't heard back from her. On the one hand it's disappointing because it is cold here in GA now and I wanted this done already. I ended up making a Baby it's Cold Outside in the mean time as my daughter needs something so it was that or buy one.

On the other hand we have to remember she is very busy to begin with and her publisher wants her to correct all the sizes for that, not just the one I wanted so I'm sure it'll take some time.

I will let you all know when I hear from her.

Hi,

I am working on the same pattern. I just started on the collar with the contrasting yarn, but I do feel that the sleeves are rather short. I am working on the middle size for a 2.5year old and I wonder if there is something wrong with the pattern.

 

Any help would be great!

Yes the pattern is messed up for all sizes.

She never did get back to me after the last email. I know she's a super busy woman but I was disappointed. She did work it out like she told me she would but instead of letting me know the corrections she had it published in this issue of Crochet Today with changes made to collar and cuffs.

Maybe I wasn't clear. There are no correct instructions that I'm aware of. The best you can do is either work it out yourself, write her and hope you have better luck than I did, or order that magazine and do that version. You can order off their site, it's the Jan 2008 issue:
