Which hooks with which thread?

What hooks do you match with which threads? I'm working on some #30 with a size 12 hook, which I've decided is too small, at least for me. I'm going to try the 12 hook with some #50.

 

My standard is to use:

#10: 7 hook

#20: 8 hook

#30: 9 hook

 

What do the rest of you do?

I use size 11 for size 10 thread,

size 13-14 hook for size 30

 

size 17 for size 40

and size 19 for size 50 thread

I use a 1mm hook for anything smaller than size 10 thread. I use anything from a 1-2mm hook for 10 cotton. I have used as small as a 0.6mm hook with 2 strands of embroidery cotton. It was time consuming but well worth it.
