Can anyone point me to some crochet patterns for American Girl dolls?

You know what I have done to make some for my girls is.

Find a baby pattern and use a smaller hook and adjust the size, such as if it calls for 40 stitches going across 1/2 that..

Also you can inlarge barbie patterns too.

I have found many crochet and knit (gasp!) patterns for American Girl size dolls at CloseKnitPress.com. I have also found a few free patterns on the web, from going on the search engine and typing in American Girl crochet patterns or something similar.
