A skinny scarf, a basic bracelet, and a hat

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm Gayle! I'm new to crochetville as a member but have enjoyed the site as an observer for a good long while now. I've just recently [since roughly May] gotten into designing my own patterns, and I'm quite proud so far.

First up, a free bracelet pattern:

It's a great way to kill off the very last of a skein of yarn. My 8-year-old niece and my 23-year-old sister-in-law both love them.

And now a free, one-skein scarf pattern:

I love long, skinny scarves, and this one fits the bill perfectly. I can wrap it around again and again, and I never feel like I'm being strangled.

I also have a hat pattern that I recently put up. It's for sale for $5.00, and I've included instructions for making the hat for head sizes 20"-24". I'm calling it "Fuzzed to be Tied" because I'm a nerd. The pattern works for both a fuzzy yarn or a non-fuzzy yarn, and looks fantastic.

It's also warm and cozy, which is my number one priority for hats. The pattern is e-mailed in PDF format, for easy download and printing.

I would love to know what you think, and I'm also a huge fan of seeing pictures of finished projects!

Gayle

Two of them are for me :D Some of the girls at work want to lay claim to them. I plan on making some for Christmas gifts. I have a future plan of making some pink ones for the next Relay for Life I will walk in to raise funds.
