First felting attempt & skull purse!

Hi everyone, this bag is my first try at felting, usually real wool is WAY out of my price range but the other day I found a few balls of a wool/mohair mix with 9% nylon that was a really good price so I thought I'd give it a bash.My swatch felted really well but I had to felt the bag by hand (my washing machine dosen't have a hot water inlet) so its not quite as felted as I would have liked . I really like it anyway still trying to decide what kind of fastening to do, I might try and put a zip in it! I made the coin purse to go with it, first time I've tried a graph and putting in a zip so I'm really pleased how it turned out! Thanks for looking!

I used the graph from this pattern for a knitted bag http://www.helloyarn.com/miniskulltote.htm , I'd really like to try a crochet version!
