Belt it out!

Bought some pants, they were a bit big in the waste so after cranking them up all day long I decided to sit down and make a belt.

That is crazy! I used the exact pattern and made myself a belt just like that; I used ecru kitchen cotton, though, and the first time I wore it, it stretched way WAY out, and can't really be a belt anymore. I was going to make myself another one but carry along some thread to prevent it from stretching so much.

 

Did you have that problem?

I used the Aunt Lydias Denim, and it does stretch but not terribly. It bounces back into shape pretty well.
