I'm in St. Louis too - but I'm kind of a sporadic crochetter, as I'm a grad student.

Thought we might try to pick this back up. Anyone out there? I know we've got a very active Stitch n Bitch group, and think it'd be great to get some crochetters in there as well. Plus, with the weather turning nice, there's always the opportunity to crochet in the park somewhere!

Crocheting in the park does sound like fun, but I'm afraid that with gas prices as high as they are, I'm really not willing to drive from Edwardsville to St. Louis unless I absolutely have to. It does sound like fun, though.

Oh, how I wish I had that option. I live out in Clayton, and will be spending my summer working in Fairview Heights. The drive from Edwardsville is a solid one too (worked there before grad school). So I understand. Besides, it prevents you from coming into the city and spending money

Fairview Heights isn't really that far. I go there to go to Hobby Lobby. Maybe when it gets closer to summer we could work something out.
