I'm working on a needle case as my second project,and it calls for felting at the end. I didn't use the specified yarn, so I was wondering if I still need to felt. I used Red Heart Supersaver Multicolor , and Caron Wintuk. They are both 100% acrylic. Is that ok to felt with, or is there a special way to do it? Please Help!!

Kayla-- You can not felt 100% acrylic yarn! The only thing you can felt is 100% wool. Your bag is done. Only throw it in the wash if you need to.

Sorry-only wool will felt-acrylic won't change when it's washed. Maybe you could line it with fabric, if the hole are too big for your hooks?

Felting is done with natural fibers so acrylics won't allow for it!

Acrylic won't felt, so if you like the finished project, I would say you are done!
