Each pattern writer, writes it a little differently. I would say that it is one cluster for every 5 stitches.

 

 

The best way to know for sure is if it says how many clusters you should have at the end of the row. Unless you are increasing on this row and decreasing on the next row, I would say that you do one cluster using the next 5 stitches.

:think What you are making is an upside down shell.

 

:hook You are going to make all but the last movement of the next 5 stitches, then yo and pull through all loops on the hook. With so many, you may need to do a firm CH to close the top off.

Maybe if you are still not sure, you can write a bit more of the row andmaybe the row before as it will make more sense then and we will be better able to help.
