It's nice to hear that you like the doily. It only looks challenging but it's not all that hard to make. It consists mostly of sc, sl st and picots crocheted over two strands of crochet thread. The hardest thing would be the flowers to make. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

I guess I have been intimidated by the Irish crochet technique as well, only because I have never tried it. But I assure you I will be trying it sooner or later. I'm not even a doily person, but this particular one is just WOW!!! Truly stunning!
