Did you see the bird on the cover of the latest issue of CROCHET WORLD? It is so cute! I want to make that. None of the other patterns in this issue were much interest to me.

That was the only pattern that interested me too. It irritates me when I get a crochet magazine in the mail and there isn't anything I'd like to make. Oh well, they can't please all of us all of the time. Someday I might decide to do some of that other stuff so I can never get rid of a magazine...at least that's what I tell my hubby!

I thought the bird was cute too. But I agree there was nothing else in there I even really liked and I will not make the bird just because I have no use for it. I'm letting my subscription expire, I have only used one pattern from the magazine with this subscription. . . Like I've never bought patterns and not used them before At least the patterns I buy are ones I like. Cannot have patterns I don't like sitting on the pattern shelf.

There's a thread on it here, if you're curious. Honestly, I thought that bird was just about the ugliest little thing. I do plan on making the Easter dress, though not the cardigan.
