Quick Question on Reading Repeating Patters

When a pattern says this:

 

R4 thru 11-Ch1, sc in every sc around, join

 

Does that mean:

A) Chain once, then do 8 complete rounds of sc, then join at the end

 

or

 

B) Chain once, one complete round of sc, then join; Chain once, one round of sc, join....etc. (as in 8 total ch1's, 8 total joins)

This pattern is worked in rounds, if that makes a difference.

It's option B. You will be joining each round, and then doing a Ch1 before the next sc
