Question on today's Annie's attic free pattern

Hi, Todays free pattern is a bookmark and it says to use a cro-tat crochet hook. Do you think this is necessary or could I do it using a regular steel hook? I read the pattern and I think it's possible to do it without the special hook. What do you think?

A regular steel hook should work alright. The cro-tat hooks have a longer, straighter (without bumps, or grooves) handle. As long as you keep your stitches on the loose side (to pull through so many threads) you should be okay!

I had a very nice day thank you. The thing is a birthday is supposed to last for 24 hours, It's official that my Birthday is the 27th Feb. But I was born at 11:20 pm. So I think I should be celebrating on the 28th. also what do you think about that?
