zippered pencil case for yarn hooks, bought at Walmart for $1.00.

Bought a zippered, leather pencil case with a reinforced section at the bottom, which makes it stiff enough to provide some protection against breakage. It was with the billfolds. There was nothing suitable in cosmetic cases or office supplies. It'll do fine for yarn hooks, until a fancy one comes along.

Thought I'd pass it along. It's useful, attractive enough and $1.00 plus taxes.

I use a fake fur leopard print pencil case for my hooks and scissors and other odds and ends...I love pencil cases for that purpose...sounds like you got yourself quite a deal there! Congrats...

I got a canvas pencil case there too last year for .50 and it works great! It's not flat but more of cylinder shape so it's easy to find things. Wish I would have gotten more now but maybe I'll go check them out for recent deals!
