its looks like crochet cotton, but you can usesport weight yarn if you want to, or you can use baby yarn.

The yarn info says the recommended needle size is 2.5-3.5mm, so if you are looking at a ball of cotton or some other blend look for a corresponding recommended size. That should get you into the right weight of yarn.

Viscose is more commonly known as rayon. A rayon/cotton blend will be softer and drapier than a plain cotton.
