Gosh, that's gorgeous, I might have to get that book and try it myself. Love the color you picked, it really shows off the stitching.

Well thanks again everyone! I have to confess that I picked the pattern because it was the one that looked to be the easiest and the quickest in the book. I really liked that the part of the border with the filet stitching was worked in with the body of the afghan, and I am a sucker for ribbon. If someone does complete this afghan and does the whole border, please get a hold of me because I would love to see it! It really was easier than I thought it would be. If anyone decides to try it and needs help, please feel free to PM me.
