About Crochetville
The Crochetville forum was founded in 2004 as an online place for crocheters to gather and encourage each other. Everyone is welcome, from the self-taught beginner to the experienced crocheter. Members can get help with a crochet question, join in on a crochet-along , show-and-tell projects, and more. Crochetville is woman-owned by two lifelong crocheters.

Question
Gran
I haven't found this addressed in C'ville yet. If it has been, could s/o give me the reference?
What is the general practice for keeping the copyright to your designs, your patterns when you submit them and they are accepted for publication?
I don't write for periodicals which buy the writer's work along with the copyright. I only write for publication when I have clear legal ownership of my work and the agreement states that they are paying to use my work.
How is this for patterns?
