Wonderful Old Pattern Booklets

A friend of mine (who only knits) found some wonderful old crochet booklets at a thrift store and bought them for me (because I only crochet:)).

I love them and can't wait to try out some of the patterns. It was a great RAOK and a definate highlight in my day.

The more I look at them the more I fall in love with some of the patterns. I'd like to make my mom a tablecloth, but I don't think my skill with thread is quite up to par yet.

love old patterns. collecting old sewing and crafting books is an other passion of me.

Lucky girl! I, too, collect vintage patterns. And some of those old ones are really goodies.

I just found about 5 old books at "Half-Price-Books" (a used bood store). They were only .98 each! Fun.

I've never checked out half-price.com before, but I'm tempted to see what they have as far as crochet books and patterns go. I'm almost scared to go look (but of course I'll look anyway;)). I wish there was a used book store close to me, but they've all closed for one reason or another.

I love the baby cape one. I have that one myself. Havent tried it out yet, but my grandma made that same cape for me when I was a baby and I still have it.
