These would be simple rectangles, you wouldn't need a pattern.

I personally use fabric napkins that matches the background color of my couch, which is floral with an off-white background.  They pretty much stay put by themselves, so no 'couch shaping' needed.

Here is an example that is for pets, but just imagine it without the seat and leg area part, a rectangle at the top back of the chair and a rectangle over each arm.  https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pet-crochet-chair-cover

Or this, the pattern isn't available but it shows plain old rectangles for the most part just to give you an idea.  https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/contemporary-living-room-antimacassar-sets  edit, oops, that's for doll house furniture, but the ideas is the same.

Thank you so much for the ideas, I like both of them but what I am concerned about is the part when you sit down your fingers hold on to the front part of the arm rest and that is where slot of oils collect.

Hmm.  The thing is, there are dozens of different couch armrest-end designs out there, so there is unlikely to be an existing pattern to fit your setup.

You might consider making large rectangles, leaving a LOOOONG end  and then weaving the end thru the edges and gather them to shape (so they'd gather over the front of the armrest).  Or weaving elastic thru; this might work better in my head than in real life

The only thing that comes to mind is, you can buy 'throws' that are meant to cover the entire couch including the armrests (but not for your style, more for a linear couch that seats maybe 3 people).  When I was just starting out, in a tiny apartment with a beanbag as my sole living room furniture for a while, someone gave me their old couch which was solid but the fabric was a bit worn; I bought one of those covers.  It was more or less upholstery fabric blanket with fringe that you tucked around the cushions, it covered pretty much the whole couch (except the back side, I think; this was a LONG time ago!).  You'd need probably 2 blankets for your setup, maybe 1 on each end since the middle doesn't have armrests?  Something like this
