Cygnet chunky

I can't comment directly because I don't care to work with chunky yarn (plus I'm in the US and am unfamiliar with that UK brand)

In the US yarn class is defined by wraps per inch, and is a range; for example US weight class 4 (medium) and 5 (bulky) could BOTH be 9 WPI (I hadn't noticed that before, that's a bit ... messy).

Another site, this time UK  - interesting, UK chunky is 1 class bigger than US 'medium', so could your yarn could be in that overlap area, so it makes sense that it might be hard to distinguish from the next smaller yarn class.
