Hi and thank you. I am so pleased I found your site. I have been crocheting for years and have sort of considered myself an advanced crocheter until … Amigurimi. (I still can’t say it). I am having so much trouble getting my animals arms and legs lining up and when I add the filling, it never looks like the pattern. My dinosaur looks like a duck. This is my first attempt and it’s taken me nearly 2 days to make a 8” dinosaur. Would anymore please have some ideas to help me. Greatly appreciated ☺️

One thing I have read is not to overstuff them and to stuff parts as you go along instead of waiting until the end.  The following has some good tips.

BGS is correct, that is a problem I had for quite a while, till I started to stuff as I went along, especially legs and arms.  Anther tip, if you can.  Use some kind of stocking in a color of the yarn, to us to stuff, as it help stop the white holes and also helps with the over stuffing.  I use knee hi's.
