I'm Petal and I've been crocheting on and off since my teens.  It has only been since early last year I've picked up my hook again and am attempting a chenille blanket for my daughter to take to University with her in September.  I'm a US ex-pat and have been overseas for over 25 years.  Crocheting has been a link to my mother who was a keen craftswoman and crocheted so many afghans that I've lost count.  Looking forward to learning from everyone! x
