Baby booties and hat

My name is Melissa I looking for a newborn baby booties and hat pattern for my cousin who is having a baby in November I will be using a hook size H or G if anyone can help me please send me a message from Melissa

I'm guessing from the hook size you want to use worsted weight yarn (US #4), like Red Heart Super Saver or similar?  There are more free patterns out there for finer yarn, but I couldn't find a free 'set' pattern for that weight that didn't lead to a dead link.

This pattern uses a G hook but DK weight yarn (US #3 weight) https://www.free-crochet.com/crochet_for_babies_and_children/Baby_Layette/   You have to sign up, but it's free and they don't bother you with e-mails (it's related to Annie's Attic and DRG magazines like Crochet World).

edit, Oops, that had more of a bonnet than a hat.  I will keep looking...

You're welcome - I found another one with a not-bonnet hat that uses a G hook but 'sport' weight yarn, which is the same as baby yarn (US #2 weight).
