need help in croche directions

Can anyone please help me out in understanding how to pivot to work across row ends.

As i started a new project from red heart boy's dino sweater. In that after completi g the back ribbing its given pivot to work across row ends

you've been making rows of 7 stitches.  now you will rotate the piece and work across it long ways.

she did a row of sc first and then a mesh stitch so the mesh stitch is different than what you will be doing, but it shows the concept.
