I can't believe I missed this before- it looks really beautiful and the fit is so good. I definetely think you should submit this pattern somewhere- have never seen a shawl that shape before but it works so well

1st, its wonderfully innovative.

 

2-- it seems 2 me you are using basic granny sq technique & basic filet technique. seems like you could easily vary the square a bit, come up w/something your own & then u could b free to post the pattern as u wish.

 

take a look @ how this lady has taken granny sq & gone nuts w/them...

Thanks everyone! It's definately made me want to submit this somewhere! I was think I will "tweak" the square to make it my own and then I'll be free to submit this... I just picked up some new boucle yarn and I think I will test this out on that... It really didn't take me too long to make. Hopefully by next week I'll have the pattern ironed out and I'll be able to submit it! Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate it!!!!
