Hi! I am going to Portland OR this weekend. Are there any yarn shops you can recommend? I've looked up places on yelp. What are/ is your fave? Thanks for your help!

One shop I love is Yarnia http://www.yarniapdx.com  You can pick out colors and fiber types and they will blend your own custom yarn, it's really cool.  So it's really unique and definitely yarn that you will not see anywhere else!  And don't worry if it seems like the yarn would be splitty because the strands aren't twisted together, it really is not splitty in my experience.  And if you want more later you can order online.  They are very crochet friendly, they have crochet samples of the blends as well as knitted ones.
