Need help making double crochet v-stitch

Lamaloo

Question

I'm just starting a sweater and doing the gauge first but stuck already. I made the foundation row, but don't understand directions for the dcV

Double crochet v

1. (Dc, ch 1, dc) all in next stitch

2. Dc in 1st st

3. Sc in 1st dc worked in last row, ch2

It's the next st and 1st st part in not understanding.

For reference the pattern is "delicata" on berroco.com ( free pattern) please explain if you can :(

It's listed like that is all part of the double crochet v stitch instructions, but that's not like any v stitch I've ever seen. Unless someone else here is familiar with it, you might want to contact berroco through their web site for explanation.

A link directly to the pattern:

Are you a member of Ravelry?  One of the neat things about that site is that you can look at other people's projects, and often find out if others have found problems, and posted either their own solutions or errata from the pattern creator.  This is what I found for your pattern:

Errata
Under “Stitch Glossary” section

Double Crochet V-Stitch (dcV)
(dc, ch 1, dc) all in next st
Dc in 1st st
Sc in 1st dc worked in last row, ch 2

should read

Double Crochet V-Stitch (dcV)
(dc, ch 1, dc) all in next st

Double Crochet in 1st Stitch (Dc in 1st st)
Sc in 1st st, ch 2
