shawl pattern help

Recently a friend gave me this shawl - attached in photos (which was to her grandmother). Can anyone help me with the pattern because i am very confused...i do not know how to start and also how can i crochet these puff flowers..

The flowers are puff stitch flowers.

The rest of the construction looks like a series of [dc, ch 2] to make the square webbing, and [ch, dc in the side of the flower] to attach the flowers together.  Sorry I can't help much more with this part!

which is the way that attaches flowers? seems had crochet filet and after at the end with some way made flowers...this part i don't understand..also how i begin? anyway thanks for your help...this shawl on Ravelry is awesome!!!

the trick to making the flowers is to do the lower petals on one row and the upper petals on the next row.  this pattern on Ravelry has a similar flower http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/puff-flower-stitch-scarf

I remember seeing a turorial awhile ago and it was neat the way it's done all in one piece with the two rows forming the flowers but didn't save it .

This Turkish tutorial has a shawl pattern for similar flowers in both Turkish and English (the English is immediately following the Turkish directions so a little easy to miss).  It shows how to build up a shawl starting from one corner on a mesh-like framework.
