it is just barely under 6 feet long and is 8 inches wide.

it will be a Christmas gift... just not sure who for yet

Is that black? I've never seen Jiffy in black. Didn't know they were discontinuing that, what a shame. It looks super nice, not sure about fringing, personally I'm kinda tired of fringe. Maybe a loop edging? Long chain stitch loops?

I am completely devestated by the news about LB Jiffy! This is one of my favorite yarns. I just broke the news to my DH that I will be hitting all my local stores and buying up as much of it as possible.

 

As for the scarf, I kind of like it without fringe. Of course my policy on fringe has always been to base it on who the scarf was for, which totally doesn't help you in this situation!!

Instead of fringe, I like to add chain loops. That might be an idea.
