I was just there updating my computer (got a new one) and noticed that they had their yarns on sale.  Cones were like $8.99 and skeins $1.99.  Not a bad price.

Boy could I get in trouble there.

 

Bad  Terri Bad  .  I just went over and spent almost $90 including shipping. 

 

I am using the excuse that it will be my birthday present.

So Peaches & Creme does NOT sell black on the cone!!!  

 

So while their sale is Very Good, I went to my favorite store (wal*mart) and found some skeins of black. Wal*Mart has lowered their skein prices.

From $1.77 to..... $1.44!!!   

Needless to say, I bought all that they had out there (which was only 4 skeins).  But Hey, it's a very good start.  LOL

I've used that excuse before too, Mary Jo--but my husband finally figured out I really don't have 5 birthdays a year!!!!

That's an idea! I've never tried having more than 1 birthday a year. I could do that when it comes to yarn!

It amazes me that not only don't they have black on cones, they don't have red either.  It seems like most of the solid colors are in skeins only.

 

What is cool, is I can use his Birthday too, but it is only 3 days before mine.  Since most of the stuff I make ends up in ami town.

Ok.. the cones are still at $8.99 and now the solid skeins are at $1.47.  That is what I pay at Wal-mart. Tempting tempting tempting
