the emotion signs question

   I am on face book ; and i see people posting the heart  emotion signs ; different kinds of hearts etc ;

Question

when I find a  emotion sign like for example the heart on here; how can I save this to use later when I post on face book etc.

They're called emoticons.

 

I just tried a couple on facebook and they worked for me.

 

Type these in without the spaces.  With the spaces you get the emoticon

 

heart <3

 

smiley face   : )

 

big smile   : D

 

tongue sticking out   : P

 

wink ; )

 

and I checked out ALT codes and they work, too!!!  For ALT codes - you hold down the ALT button and type in the numbers and the symbol will appear.  i tried it here and it didn't work but they do on facebook.

and one of my friends just made a pile of poop with eyes (it's really cute!!!) on facebook by typing
