crochenit

Anybody here crochenit? I am working on a crochenit baby blanket right now. I have made a few things in the past and I absolutely love the technique. Blankets use waaay less yarn than traditional crochet and come out light and textured and reversable.

I've never heard of this...is it kind of like knooking? (I haven't branched out much from crocheting, so I'm not really up on some of these new techniques).
