A Granny Square Chemo Cap

This is the latest in a series of hats I am making for a friend's sister.

 

This hat is a variation on Michele Maks' Granny Square Hat featured on the cover of Crochet World's Glorious Granny Squares. I used KnitPicks Worsted Comfy™ yarn and it really isn't possible to get the gauge with that yarn and a two-round granny square, so I had to go to three rounds which necessitated changes elsewhere. Love the hat!  I took a peek at your blog and I love the silk yarn you showed and that wpi tool is ingenious!  I've never seen one before.  May I ask where you got it?  Btw, it's so nice of you to be making all of these beautiful hats.  I'm sure the lady receiving them appreciates each and every one.
