Blocking with Homespun

I just completed the Homespun Spiral Afghan from Lionbrand's website and I intend to donate it to a silent auction for my local library. I've not done much blocking of anything and I'm wondering if there are any special tips and tricks that people would be willing to share about working with this yarn.

As far as I know, you don't have to block Homespun.  If anyone out there knows differently, please let us know.

It is so unstructred and stretchy I don't think it can be blocked.  I wouldn't worry about it.

This morning I had the bright idea to just Google it and got a hit on the Lionbrand website -- imagine that. Ha. It basically said the same thing. The advice they offered was simply washing and drying it should take care of any problems but I am donating it to a fundraiser in 7 days and don't want to take any chances with it. Thank you for your replies, I always trust the advice I get from the members here.
