pet bed made out of sheets?

anyone make one of the pet beds out of cut up flat bed sheets? If there is a thread about it, I didnt see it yet, and would love a nudge in that direction. thanks!

I got 3 flat sheets half off at st vinnies recently, not quite sure how to cut em into strips. would it be better to strip and sew or knot together, or try to do it in one long piece?

any other suggestions on the pet bed would be greatly appreciated
