Tester Responsibilities

Make the mask. Send a picture of it. Any typos or inconsistencies should be noted. Need to know the amount of time it takes, the amount and type of yarn used. ( I used some old gifted acrylic and there was no yardage on the package, so I only know the amount used by weight)

Compensation

You should be able to go to the manufacturer's website. They usually list the yardage on the information page.

I would remake it in a currently available yarn. No one's going to be able to find the yarn that you're using. I realize that this is what you're asking your testers to do but the gauge of the pattern is to you. Don't forget to add 20% to the weight/yardage so that people with a different gauge don't run out.
