Crochet Magazines Question

I want to subscribe to a crochet magazine but don't know which one to subscribe to. I want a magazine that offers a lot of different patterns in each monthly edition. Any recommendations?

My favorite magazine is Interweave Crochet. This magazine has mostly wearables with the occasional afghan. Crochet World has more "old school" patterns (In my opinion). I think that Crochet Today and Crochet! have a good mix of all kinds of patterns.

I don't make clothes, mostly toys and home items. I really like Crochet World and Crochet Today and have subscriptions to both. I have also been collecting some of the older Annie's Attic series as I find good deals on them.

 

I suspect your choice depends on the style of patterns you enjoy making. I pick up Crochet occasionally when I see they have a specific pattern I like. I don't subscribe because we are not a match in terms of interests.

 

My suggestion would be to check out the selection at your local store that carries craft magazines. I wish I had know our local library carried the major magazines. It would have prevented me from purchasing one magazine I dropped later.
