Bullion stitch

I saw this on Yutube and got my husband to rig this hook for me. It's the only way I am able to bullion stitch. It's just a piece of plastic tubing that he found in the tool shed, and a metal yarn needle. I'd like to push the plastic down a little more, but I can't with the flat, wide finger spot in the middle. If I do a lot of bullions maybe I'll get hubby to work on it some more.

Cool! Your stitches are coming out great, too!! :) A friend of mine told me to cut the end off a drinking straw, and that worked for me - but you have to make sure the straw is big enough to go over your hook... LOL

Thanks. I didn't think of a straw. It would be easier if the middle wasn't so wide. I might try one of the straight wooden hooks that I have. They use these bullions a lot of freeform crochet, which is on my to-do list.
