Herrschner's Worsted 8 Yarn

Has any one used Herrschner's Worsted 8 Yarn?? All of the afghan kits using this yarn, and almost all of the colors in the individual skeins are on backorder until May. According to Herrschner's website it is due to the overwhelming popularity of this new yarn.

 

Has me curious as to what it is like.

I cant even find it on their web site

I just received their latest catalog the other day and it was not listed in it. However, the catalog before that did list it as individual skeins.

 

If you go to www.herrschners.com and in the search box put Herrschners Worsted 8 yarn, it will come up on the first page and the first box shows the yarn at $2.77 a skein.

 

If you then click on the picture (shows a bluish color yarn) it gives all the colors and many are like Justvicki said, they are on backorder.
