Ear Flap Hat

I am almost done with it.

I just have to braid the other side and finish weaving in the ends. I made this one with all hdc. Man that was a LOT faster than sc! LOL I think I"ll just use that all the time.

I don't feel like resizing it so here's the link to the pic. I'm going to make a scarf to match.

Very nice! What pattern did you use? I'm wanting to make some for Christmas presents but don't like the pattern I have.

I didn't use a pattern. I just started with 7 hdc in a magic loop and increased until it was big enough. Then for the ear flaps I went a ways then turned and decreased on both sides for every row. Then at the end I just used a solid color to trim it up.
