Have You Seen THIS Pineapple???

Many moons ago, I received this lovely pineapple bookmark in a Bookmark Exchange:

 

 

I'd like to make some more as it's a lovely, lovely bookmark and one of my very favorite ones. Does it look familiar at all?

Nooo...I don't think I have. This one is close, except it has a more substantial "tail":

That does look a lot like that pattern only with a different tail, which is giving me ideas I tried that pattern once but the tail was giving me fits, so maybe I'll try a simpler tail and have another go at it. Thanks for posting that link, Rachel!
