Cotton yarns and shrinkage

I know that cotton thread will shrink (I accidentally put a doily in my dryer:P ). Was wondering about cotton or cotton blend worsted weight, like Peaches & Cream. I want to use it for clothing, but I'm afraid. Anyone have any experience? Thanks.

The new CrochetMe has an excellent feature on this. Someone tested several varieties for shrinkage, etc.

If in doubt don't dry it, when I wash my items I dry them for 10min and hang to dry. The 10 minutes warms the item up enough for the wrinkles to fall out. I don't get any shrinkage that way.
