Hotpad/Potholder Set

I made a dishcloth and hotpaid/potholder set for my daughter to match the pale yellow walls she has now. I knitted two dishcloths for her and crocheted these hotpad/potholders as well. I gave her some granny square dishcloths a couple of weeks ago. These hotpad/potholders are just single crocheted squares and when you join two together you turn one square so ros are facing the opposite way. It's a pattern I learned when I first started crocheting back in the '70's. I used to make it out of acrylic yarn, it's a wonder that they never melted, but Mom never had a problem with hers. So here I am older and wiser using Peaches and Creme Cotton - Daisy Ombre and they turned out really good.
