I love her books although I am heartbroken to say I may pass on this one as I do not know how to do Broomstick, Hairpin, Tunisian and it is a HUGH undertaking to learn all three

I just got this book in the mail for review. It's fabulous! Doris provides instructions on how to do all these techniques, so you may want to invest in a copy if you've ever wanted to learn these techniques.

 

I'll write up a review just as soon as I have time. Try to look at a copy in your local bookstore to see if it's something you want to invest in. Or maybe you can ask your local library to buy a copy, then you can check it out and keep renewing it for awhile!

I pre-ordered it, and got it last week. Wonderful! And so imaginative.

I've done hairpin lace, and I thought her instructions were very clear. So i imagine her instructions for the other techniques would be as well.

I received my book a few weeks ago, but have been tied up with other projects. I really want to try that broomstick lace vest pattern - looks so light and summery.
