Out of the Box with Everything Mary

I'm sure many of you already know about this site, but there's a scarf there that really got my interest up, so I thought I'd share the site here:

The scarf that got my attention is the "Colorful Crochet Scarf" - see the video in the box in the middle of the page. That would be a great project if you've got bulky scraps.

It looks like a fairly simple pattern - just alternate DC and SC to make a mesh and then weave the chains through.

I've seen afghans and placemats made that way, but never thought to make a scarf.
