As an update to this, when Pacha is talking to Kuzko the llama, they have a conversation along the lines of this:

Llama: Nice poncho. Is it wool?

Guy: Alpaca.

Llama: Oh, nice.

Guy: My wife made it.

Llama: Does she knit?

Guy: Crochets.

 

I thought it was cute. Not only crocheting, but alpaca, too!
