I just found this stitch called spider web stitch and was wondering if anyone can help me?

there are lots of variations of the "spiderweb" or "spider". i don't know of a reference for that particular variation. You can find spiderwebs in the Harmony Guides and Donna Kooler's Encyclopedia of Crochet and Crocheting in Plain English.

That is a very cool stitch combo. Part spider stitch, part granny square and done in diamonds. I love it!

I so fell in love with that stitch that I found a blanket to go with it. Turns out - I HATED doing it. So - It's a lapghan size instead of a full ghan.
